Pattern Description:
I was asked to give a cable knitting workshop at a local library and I wanted to create a pattern that would be quick to do but teach several different cable techniques. This sampler square can be used as a square for a blanket, the basis for a scarf or a cushion or any number of other things!
Gauge:
Not important but I used wool that gave me 5 stitches = 1 inch.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Approximately 6 inches
Materials:
- Worsted weight, light colored wool
- Size 4.5 or 5.00 mm straight knitting needles (US size 7 or 8)
- Cable needle

- scissors, darning needle
