Pattern Description:
I needed to come up with several summer baby gifts this year, and designed this blanket to fit the bill! Using larger size needles for Dk yarn gives this quick-to-knit baby blanket an open, airy texture. Great for summer babies if made with cotton yarn. I have also included helpful hints on making color choices, so you can get the Beach Umbrella Stripe effect.
Gauge:
The gauge is not important for this project because the baby doesn't care what size the blanket is!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 28" by 28" for car seat size
Materials:
- DK weight yarn in 4 colors
- 300yds - main color, 200yds - 2nd color, 123yds - 3rd & 4th color
You Will Also Need:
- # 10 circular knitting needles
