Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and Purl
  • Knit back and forth on a circular needle

Pattern Description:

I designed this 28" x 36" baby blanket using a medium weight/worsted yarn in a cotton/acrylic blend.

It is a simple pattern using a combination of only knit and purl stitches to create a reversible block pattern for a beautiful and delicate baby blanket.

A great project for the beginner knitter, it is worked back and forth on circular needles


4"x4" (10cm x 10cm) = 18 stitches and 24 rows

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 28"x 36" (71 x 92 cm)


  • Circular needle size 5.5mm/ US#9/ UK#5

You Will Also Need:

  • large-eyed blunt sewing needle

Suggested yarn:

830 yards of Worsted weight
