(6) Name: 'Knitting : The Green Girl Flower Power Potholder
The Green Girl Flower Power Potholder
The Green Girl Flower Power Potholder

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, purl, single crochet, longtail cast-on

Pattern Description:

I am involved in an annual potholer swap and I designed this pattern as my 2012 contribution to the swap. That is, I designed the pattern and created the potholders to exchange in the swap.

This design is not just for decoration -it is a double thickness. You can use the potholder to protect your tabletop and counters and it will keep your fingers from being burned.

By switching the colors, you can make a lovely little set, which will make a great add-on gift for a bridal shower.

5 rows and 7 sts equal one inch.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 8x8 inches

  • One ball of two coordinating colors of kitchen cotton, Hana-Ami Flower Loom or other device for making flowers
