Pattern Description:
Perfect for tabletops, mantles and small spaces, the festive Felted Forest can be made in any color scheme and embellished to your heart's content! The best part is how easy it is to store, ship or gift - the trees fold flat. Just stuff them with plastic bags or tissue paper to display.
All techniques such as the scallop border, changing colors, felting and making the twisty top are fully explained in the pattern. The pattern includes instructions for all 3 sizes of trees and free "Tree Tips".
My patterns are written in a non-traditional way to be very beginner-friendly. I use few, if any, abbreviations and give instructions in a row-by-row format in easy-to-read large type with a color picture of the finished project.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Small tree - about 9" tall after felting
- Medium tree - about 13" tall after felting
- Large tree - about 18" tall after felting
Materials:
- US size 11 circular needle - 16"
- US size 11 double-pointed needles
- Small tree - 70 yds. medium weight worsted wool , 70 yds. bulky weight acrylic, 10 yds. novelty fur yarn
- Medium tree - 70 yds. medium weight worsted wool in main color choice, 40 yds. medium weight worsted wool in contrast color choice, 90 yds. bulky weight acrylic, 20 yds. novelty fur yarn
- Large tree - 150 yds. medium weight worsted wool, 150 yds. bulky weight acrylic, 30 yds. novelty fur yarn
- large eye needle to weave in ends
You Will Also Need:
- row counter
- embellishments - jingle bells, ribbon, wire, beads, sequins, pompoms etc. as desired

I can add sewing to the favorites list again after taking the "Couture Dress" class on Craftsy - I hadn't sewn for myself in a long time because fitting and the way patterns are done frustrated me to no end - the class gave me a whole new way to approach sewing and I'm enjoying it again.
