Pattern Description:
A cozy way to change the look of a lampshade! Simplicity lampshade cozies are super simple to knit, knit up quickly, and can change the look of your room. The simple design is perfect for any room, from a masculine study or office to a casual living room to a girl's bedroom. They look wonderful on a flea market chandelier! Use the suggested yarn or a handspun super bulky yarn for a very special look. Cozies are knit in the round so there are no seams, which means your lampshade looks perfect from any side.
Lampshade cozies are great for flea market finds! I purchased the chandelier pictured at the Nashville Flea Market and the lampshade cozies I made for it are a great shabby chic look!!

Gauge:
10 stitches and 14 rows over 4" slightly stretched, using size US 15 (10mm) knitting needles and super bulky yarn
Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Materials:
- 30-150 yards of super bulky weight yarn depending on the size cozy you are making - cozies pictured were made using Lion Brand Woolease Thick & Quick yarn
- 16" and 24" circular knitting needles in size US 15 (10mm), US 13 (9mm), US 11 (8mm)

- Cozies are designed to fit five different lampshades that can be purchased at Target or Lowes: two shaped lampshades - small (5" top diameter, 10" bottom diameter, 7" high) and medium (6" top diameter, 15" bottom diameter, 10" high) two drum shaped lampshades - small (8" top diameter, 10" bottom diameter, 7" high) and medium (11" top diameter, 13" bottom diameter, 9" high) one chandelier lampshade - 3" top diameter, 4" bottom diameter, 4" high
