Pattern Description:

Rabbit has a choice of two different bow ties - one for evening and one to make him look posh and intellectual - though I don't think this works!
He's a fun bunny anyway and will keep your teapot hot.

You could also use him as a hiding place for Easter eggs!
Simple to make in doubled 8 ply/DK yarn of your choice.


15 sts, 21 rows to 10 cm, in stocking st, on 5.5 mm (US 9) needles, using doubled 8 ply/DK yarn
20 sts, 28 rows to 10 cm, in stocking st, on 4 mm needles, using single 8 ply/DK yarn

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • all around at widest part 48 cms; height to top of ears 30 cms - will fit teapot with height, base to lid 12 - 15 cms


  • between 120 and 150 gms of white 8 ply/DK, depending on the brand of yarn you use, plus about 10 gms of pink.
  • black or red yarn for bow tie
  • 1 pair 5.5 mm (US 9) needles; 1 pr 4 mm (US 6) needles

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 pair 20 mm "joggle" toy eyes or similar; dacron toy filling
