- This beautiful pattern uses basic lace techniques of yarn overs and decreases. Pattern is both written and charted.
Pattern Description:
This afghan is perfect for the spring/summer baby or as a cheerful throw all year long. The lace flower panels will make you smile as you knit along. The size is also perfect for an adult lapghan.
The afghan is framed on the top, bottom, and sides with a seed stitch border. The inside center panel of the blanket has 5 sections that alternate between stockinette and the lace flowers.
Lace instructions provided in both chart and written out format.
Gauge:
4 sts and 6.5 rows/inch over Stockinette stitch (or size needed to get gauge)
Materials:
- 770 yards of worsted weight yarn
- Samples shown in Knit Picks Swish Worsted and Berroco Vintage
You Will Also Need:
- US size 9 circular in 24 to 32 inches
- Tapestry needle
- Row counter (optional)
- Scissors
