Pattern Description:
The lacy stripes and beaded stars of this miniature US flag symbolically wave proudly in the breeze.
The pattern instructions include a neat trick to carry the unused stripe color up each side without showing. No extra weaving in of ends!
Gauge:
approximately 141?2 stitches per inch over pattern
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 3 by 5 inches
Materials:
- Size 8 pearl cotton thread or equivalent. Your yarn choice needs to be thin, yet strong enough, to carry the beads. 3 colors as follows: red - 14 yards, white or natural - 10 yards, blue - 6 yards
- 50 glass seed beads size 10/0 or 11/0 in white or pearl, either loose or pre-strung

- Size 4/0 US (1.25 mm) needles
