Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic increases and decreases
  • Basic knit & purl

Pattern Description:

With its delicate eyelet & vine pattern, the Megan Baby Blanket is the perfect gift for a new baby. Using only knit & purl stitches and basic increases & decreases giving it the look of a more complicated pattern, makes it a perfect pattern for beginners. General directions are given to make the blanket larger or smaller.

This pattern is both written & charted.

Errata: Work rows 1 - 30 one more time omitting the eyelets on row 29.


24sts & 32rows = 4 inches.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Length 38 inches, Width 28 inches


  • 200g, 657 yards - 600 metres Double Knit or Light Worsted.
  • 4mm needles.
