Pattern Description:

This blanket was inspired by one of my favorite characters- Agnes, Lady Danbury from Julia Quinn's novels. Elegant, bold, seemingly complex, yet with a romantic heart, I can imagine her giving this blanket as a gift to one of the many couples she not so subtly set up. The blanket is worked from the center out with a simple lattice pattern, then the edging is knit and attached as you go.

The pattern includes both written and charted directions. If substituting yarn, I highly recommend choosing a yarn that hold a blocking well.

17 stitches= 4 inches in Lattice Pattern after blocking

I am knitter, Classicist, Whovian, and Harry Potter nerd. My knitting obsessions right now include cables (especially reversible ones), slipped stitches, garter stitch, beading, and hats. Lots of hats.

I try to include both charts and written directions in all of my patterns.
