Pattern Description:

This newborn baby blanket is soft and light weight and still warm and cuddly.

For this pattern, you will need to know to knit, purl, and make cables. Although it is fairly simple, the result will be stunning.

The pattern consists of 8 repeating rows and it is recommended that you keep track of each row by using a row counter or use the
handy check-off grid at the end of the instructions.

Sizing can be altered by using different weight yarn and changing the size of the knitting needles. Following the pattern below will create a blanket that measures approximately 31 inches wide and 31 inches high.

Two strands of light weight worsted yarn are held together throughout pattern. I used Bernat Softee Baby brand - with 2 strands held together throughout
