Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

Inspired by my Grandmother who hand knit an Aran Afghan for each of her children and all of her Grandchildren. This is my re-creation of the one that she made for me, something I will always treasure!

The finished blanket is approximately 60'' wide by 72'' long, plus an 8'' Triple Knot Fringe at each end. It is made up of 5 panels knitted separately and then seamed together. This is sure to be an heirloom in your home or a wonderful gift to give on a very special occasion.

With X's & O's (Hugs and Kisses) running up the center of each panel with an eyelet lace pattern and cables on either side.

Included with the pattern are instructions for materials, knitting, cabling and fringe, as well as photographs.

Please Note: This purchase is for the pattern only, not the finished afghan and is in PDF format so you will require the Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the file. Pattern will be available to download once payment is confirmed.
