Pattern Description:
Every morning I make a French Press full of steaming coffee. I needed a "sweater" for my press to keep my second cup of coffee nice and hot. What better to use than insulating wool and mohair? I-cord ties hold the foulard (a French scarf) in place.
A one evening project...pair it with a French Press for a great gift!
Gauge:
4 stitches/inch on size 9 needles in stockinette stitch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 11" x 6"
Materials:
- Sample was knit using Brown Sheep "Lamb's Pride", 1 skein in color M69 Old Sage (190 yards/skein), one size 9 (5.5mm) circular knitting needle - 24", two size 8 (5mm) double-pointed knitting needle (for I-cords), one cable needle, stitch markers, scissors, darning needle.
