Need a quick, inexpensive project to knit for a nice gift? This is it!
The "Fine Lines Pillow" is simple and easy!
This is a quick knitting project with super bulky weight yarn!
This pillow knits up so fast you'll want to make more than one...one for yourself and another for a thoughtful gift.
Knit this pillow to give as a special gift for many occasions...a birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas or a wedding. Choose a neutral colored yarn and it will go with many decor styles.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner / Easy
A great pattern for any level of knitter...from confident beginner to advanced.
Pattern includes step-by-step finishing instructions with close-up photos.
This pattern is written in standard U.S. knitting terms.
SUPPLIES: I used Loops & Threads "Cozy Wool" in the color 'Fleece' for the pillow shown in the photos. The pattern will work with many super bulky yarns.
I used a standard (inexpensive!) 12" x 16" pillow form. The finished pillow is slightly larger with the knitted cover.

I have been knitting since I was about 8 years old. My mother taught me to knit and my parents encouraged me to explore all kinds of arts & crafts activities by providing me with the materials that I needed to create.
As a girl, I loved to sew (I spent hours using my mother’s sewing machine making clothes for my dolls), knit, draw and paint. In high school I spent all my extra time at school hanging out in the art room. In college I worked at a cute little yarn store and I still have some yarn in my stash that I bought at that store…way too many years ago!
I love giving hand knit gifts to my friends and family. In these days of mass produced gifts (that often require a plug-in cord or battery) it is nice to give something that is truly one-of-a-kind. I love to see the smile on their faces when they open the gift I made for them.
I enjoy knitting (of course!), teaching my daughter to sew, going to my son’s sporting events, baking, making jam in the summer, making homemade gingerbread houses in December, and going to the beach.
I hope that you enjoy using my patterns to create special heirloom quality items for your home, friends & family.
