Pattern Description:
Stylized roses fill a stockinette background.
This is a simple pattern, with a fairly easy to remember repeat. I wanted to knit a washcloth, but couldn't find a pattern that interested me. I found this rosebud pattern in one of the Barbara Walker stitch dictionaries, and this was the result.
Gauge:
4.5 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch in stockinette unblocked
Materials:
- worsted weight kitchen cotten yarn, size 7 needles
