Pattern Description:

An easy and practical gift with an heirloom appearance, suitable for treasures of all ages, newborn to sage. Perfect carry-around knitting, may be worked from a single yarn, several yarns or comprised of small quantities of many colours and yarns.

Gauge:

Opal 6 ply (Machine washable 80/20% wool/polyamide). 100g = 250m (11 W.P.I.) 5 x 100g
Approximate gauge in Garter St: 5.75 sts per inch on 3.75 mm (US #5) needles.
Approximate blanket square size: 4.5" Approximate overall measurements 25.5" x 34.5"

Cascade 220(wool worsted). 100g = 183m (10 W.P.I.)
Approximate gauge in Garter St: 4.75 sts per inch on 4.5 mm (US #7) needles.
Approximate blanket square size: 5.25" Approximate overall measurements 30" x 41"

Celestial BFL Aran (Handwash, 100% Blue Faced Leicester wool) 100g = 150m (8 W.P.I.)
Approximate gauge in Garter St: 4 sts per inch on 6 mm (US #5) needles.
Approximate blanket square size: 6.5" Approximate overall measurements 37.5" x 50.5"
