Pattern Description:

Here's a dopey looking dog to knit, to be a new friend for your teapot!

A cute and unusual tea cosy - you choose the colour you make him.

Easy to follow, written pattern, with plenty of reference photos.


15 sts, 21 rows to 10 cm in stocking stitch on 5.5
mm (US 9) needles, using doubled DK/8 ply yarn

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • to fit teapot 48 cms circumference and 12-15 cms tall


  • DK/8 ply (used double) x 100 gms main colour, 20 gms contrast colour, and small amount black for nose.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 pair 5.5 mm (US 9) needles, 1 pr 4.5 mm (US 7) needles, large tapestry needle for sewing seams, 1 pair 20 mm "joggle" toy eyes or similar, dacron toy filling

Suggested yarn:

300 yards of DK weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

any smooth yarn - washable is best
