Deck the Halls (AC-019) Ornament 3

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, simple lace, simple cable

Pattern Description:

Add some knitting flair to your Christmas decor with these three ornament patterns! Basic stockinette (great for featuring those beautiful self-striping yarns), a bit of lace, or cables are all sure to brighten your tree. Insert a purchased ball ornament (I love the plastic ones) or stuff with fiberfill. All three patterns are written with instructions to work either in the round or flat with a small seam. This is a great pattern to use up leftover sock yarns!

8 sts = 1" in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size

  • US#2 dpn for working in the round or US#2 straight needles for working flat

You Will Also Need:

  • cable needle (for cabled ornament)
  • one purchased ball ornament (approx. 8.5" circumference) or fiberfill

Suggested yarn:

50 yards of Fingering weight
