This petite blanket is perfectly baby-sized or lap-sized, whichever you prefer, or both! Squooshy garter stitch edging around a simple stockinette pattern makes for both a timeless design and soothing (and quick) knitting for you.
4 skeins Knit Picks Comfy Worsted or approx. 450 yds worsted weight yarn (Colors: Doe, Sea Foam, Peony, Bison)
US 6 needle, 24" circular
Stitch markers (optional)
Gauge: 18 sts and 25 rows / 4"
Size: 24" x 24"
I particularly like Knit Picks Comfy Worsted for this project because the yarn is so incredibly soft AND machine washable. Because Comfy Worsted is 75% cotton (25% acrylic), a small-size blanket like this one doesn't get too heavy, but still keeps you, your lap, or your favorite little one cozy and warm.
18 sts and 25 rows / 4"
450 yards of Worsted weight
There isn't a single waking moment for me when I?m not either knitting or thinking about knitting or talking about knitting or wearing something that I have knit. Wool surrounds me in comfort.
