Pattern Description:

Lace knitting takes on a whole new look when using bulky weight yarn. The Chalet Windows Throw is knit in a beautiful lace pattern reminiscent of the intricate lattice trimmed windows on Swiss Chalets. The geometric pattern appeals to both men and women, and works well with any dcor - country, traditional, modern, even shabby chic! A special cast on and edging give the throw a beautiful finished edge. The lace pattern is very easy and does not require a chart. Using bulky yarn and large size needles, it also knits up quickly. Make this throw for a stunning addition to your bed or a cozy chair. It would also make a wonderfully personal wedding or housewarming gift!


Using size US 11 needles and bulky weight yarn in garter stitch: 12 stitches and 21 rows over 4 inches.
