I just love this celtic knot cable, so I decided to incorporate the traditional aran pattern and design a pillow cover.
I used an aran/ivory 100% wool worsted weight yarn for this 16" x 16" pillow and added an envelope closure on the reverse allowing easy removal for laundering.
If you are familiar with using a cable needle you should have no trouble with this pattern.
4"x4" (10 x 10cm) = 20 stitches and 26 rows
420 yards of Worsted weight

I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
