I love to knit cables.
Someone asked me to create this design and I was so delighted by the outcome that I decided to formalise my design notes and create a new pattern for my store.
I used a worsted/#4/medium yarn for this 20" x 20" pillow incorporating an envelope closure on the reverse allowing easy removal for laundering. A simple crocheted border finishes the pillow very neatly.
If you are familiar with using a cable needle and a crochet hook you should have no trouble with this pattern.
4"x4" (10cmx10cm) = 16 stitches and 20 rows
600 yards of Worsted weight

I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
