The inspiration for this pillow design came from some beautiful multi-fabric ones by Amy Butler. This simplified version still gives lots of satisfaction with its many slices of color.
Each wedge is made separately (it's fun to do them two at a time!) and then mattress stitched together. Do not be afraid of mattress stitch! I have a video tutorial that covers mattress stitch and its magic. You'll love it when you learn how it works.
You can either buy or make a pillow form, then the two circles are joined by applied I-cord. There is a video tutorial available for that technique as well.
The pictured pillow was made in Tahki Cotton Classic.
This pillow is the companion pillow to the Bliss Fair-Isle pillow. Make them both for some change-of-season fun.
