Beginner
This pretty cable and heart baby blanket is worked in an Aran wool so it grows really fast. It uses basic lace and cable patterns edged in a garter border making it a perfect project for an introduction to cables for a beginner or an easier project for a more experienced knitter. This pattern is easily customisable for use as a lap blanket or throw.

I learned to knit at my grandmothers knee aged 6. After many unfinished projects over the years, I finally realised that I didn't like seaming, so almost all of my patterns don't need it. I love to knit in the round, be it socks or sweaters.
