Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic knit & purl

Pattern Description:

This is the perfect blanket to welcome a new arrival into the world. Using only knit & purl stitches to create the wave effect giving it the look of a more complicated pattern, makes it a perfect pattern for beginners. The directions are given to make the blanket larger or smaller.


20 sts x 24 rows - 4 inches.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Length 36 inches, Width 26 inches


  • 595 yards - 545 m Aran Wool
  • 5mm needles.
