I found a super soft cotton/acrylic yarn in great colors, which seemed perfect for a baby blanket and I created a design incorporating the cables I love to knit.
The result is a lightweight yet warm, washable, and very soft blanket, perfect for use in a crib, car seat or stroller. Ideal for a baby shower or new baby gift.
This pattern would work in an all cotton or all acrylic yarn too
4"x4" (10x10cm) = 20 stitches and 24 rows on size 5.5mm/UK5/US9 needles
800 yards of Worsted weight

Ever since my Mum taught me to knit and sew I have loved the creative process and experimenting with design.
I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
