So much opportunity to play with colour! This generous-sized blanket with its beautiful scalloped border is knit in the round from the centre outward. While not reversible, the pattern stitch does give a very pleasant face on both RS and WS.
This pattern provides instruction for two different colour sequences. Both charted and written instructions are provided for the pattern.
Make it Your Own: This design lends itself so well to adding your own touch ~ create a narrower-stripe blanket using up partial skeins of yarn from your stash. Makes every creation unique! Just change colours every 4 (or multiple of 4) rows beginning with R10.
24 sts and 32 rows over 4" / 10cm in Stockinette stitch
900 yards of Worsted weight
