(6) Name: 'Knitting : Ardor

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit
  • Purl
  • Basic Lace stitches

Pattern Description:

The PERFECT Summer project to make for yourself or for gift-giving.

Get all wrapped up in this beautiful, warm throw. Ardor is knit in an open, airy stitch in Knit Picks' Billow, a gorgeous, soft and lightweight cotton that is spun thick and thin, creating intriqing shapes and fabric variations in the most basic of lacework.

Lusciously supple and warm like cashmere but cool to the touch, you'll find yourself wearing this throw rather than leaving it on a lonely bed or sofa.

Knit back and forth on (2) Size US #10 1/2 Circulars.

Pattern is written and also includes a chart.


Work 16 stitch pattern repeat for 24 rows = 6" square

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 58" X 58"


  • 1300 Yards of Bulky Yarn
  • (2) 32-inch US #10 1/2 Circular Needles
