I love texture and color. This shawl has plenty of both. The Buttercup shawl is knit with my 'Biggie' yarn, which is 6 different yarns, 100 yards of each, all dyed the same colorway. There is a fuzzy mohair, a loopy mohair, a smooth mohair/wool blend, a nylon novelty yarn, a silk/wool yarn and a merino wool yarn, This shawl is really easy to knit and looks really lovely for a night out. Also available are a rectangle version and a poncho using the 'Biggie' yarn.

I raise my own small flock of sheep, using their wool for some of my yarns. I hand dye all my own yarns and sell them at festivals and in my cottage studio on my farm in Barnesville, Maryland called Dancing Leaf Farm. I create a number of patterns using my yarns. I have a website: www.dancingleaffarm.com
