Pattern Description:

This VERY EASY jacket, with a double thick collar, wrap front and self belt, is super cozy and a breeze to knit! It is worked in one piece from the hem to the shoulder seams. The body of the sweater is worked back and forth in stocking stitch, and the wrap is added later. Sleeves are knitted in rounds from shoulder to cuff, and there is a six stitch decrease panel down the top of the sleeve.


On smaller needle, 8 sts and 10 St st rows = 2" (5cm).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • XS, finished chest 32" (81cm)
  • S, finished chest 36" (91cm)
  • M, finished chest 40" (102cm)
  • L, finished chest 44" (102cm)
  • XL, finished chest 48" (122cm)
  • XXL, finished chest 52" (132cm)


  • Chunky yarn, 910 yds (830m) - 1620 yds (1480m)
  • Size 10 (6mm) circular needles
  • Size 10 (6mm) double-pointed needles
  • Size 10.5 (6.5mm) circular needles for hem

You Will Also Need:

  • Tapestry needle (blunt point) for finishing
  • 4 support buttons, 3/4" (2cm) diameter
  • 3 stitch holders
  • Stitch markers
  • Size 6 crochet hook for belt loops
