Wintry Mix lets you have your cake and eat it, too: A com- fortable, cozy sweater for the chilliest of days that still flat- ters your figure. Constructed nearly seamlessly, the body is knit in the round from the hem up; the set-in sleeves are worked in the round from the bottom up; the cowl is also picked up and worked in the round.
As with most of my patterns, vertical waist shaping darts enable easy customization to fit your needs. Should you desire less waist shaping than specified, you can either omit the shaping rows entirely, or omit/reduce only the shaping on the front of the sweater. Bustier women can accommodate their needs by performing more increases on the front of the sweater, and not in the back. Extra stitches should be decreased into the neckline. (As with all patterns, compare the schematic against your own measurements and make alterations as necessary.)
Berroco's Blackstone Tweed is a truly luscious blend of wool, mohair, and angora that results in an incredibly luxe sweater. For more information, please see: http://www.amyherzogdesigns.com/designs/sweaters/wintry-mix/
