Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, purl, provisional cast on, increasing, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, bind off.

Pattern Description:

Inspired by the paintings of Monet's Garden, Waterlillies is a
completely seamless cardigan worked from the top down.
Simple ribs and delicate lace frame the body while gentle stripes of tonal colours work their magic to create a "masterpiece" in knitting. Oversized sleeves complete the look making a very comfortable garment to wear throughout the hottest of Summers.

Gauge:

27 stitches x 36 rows = 4"/10cm worked in Stockinette Stitch
and US 3/3mm knitting needles
Or size needed to obtain gauge.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 1 US 3/3mm 24"/60cm or longer circular needle. Sleeves can be worked on double pointed needles if preferred. Waste yarn for Provisional/Invisible Cast On 2 Stitch Markers 2 Stitch Holders

Materials:

  • Finished Chest Width: 20 (21 1/2, 23 1/2, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30)"/50.5 (54.5, 59.5, 63.5, 68.5, 71, 73.5, 76)cm Note: Loose fit - Please allow 7 - 9"/ 17.5 - 22.5cm of positive ease. Note: Sample is worked in the 2nd size and modeled by Lillian who is a size 35" Bust.
