Intermediate
Vonnie is a curvy, sporty shell, designed with fuller figures in mind. It's perfect on its own or over a t-shirt, and refined enough to wear under a blazer out to dinner.
A seamless, quick knit, Vonnie is worked from the top down with lots of negative ease, and features short-row shaping at the shoulders and at the bust. The integrated facings make installing the zipper super easy, and knitting from the top means that you can try it on as you go to make sure it fits just the way you want it to.
This pattern was inspired by my friend Vonnie, who is fabulously chic! it appeared on the cover of Yarn Forward magazine, and has been updated and expanded.
22 sts/32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles; check your gauge before you begin.
