Pattern Description:

Now it's time to knit a soft and big shawl for the rest of this winter. You can use this shawl outside as a scarf or inside while watching tv etc.

This pattern is quite simple and even a beginner can make it with the instructions. The instructions don't include any complicated drawings or charts.

The shawl is knitted with a long circular needle; not round but flat though.

I knitted this shawl of left-over yarns so it's a good way to get rid of all the old yarns. The pattern doesn't include the places where I changed yarns but I normally did it when the pattern changed as well. I used about 180 grams of yarns like Marks & Kattern's Peluche and SandnesGarn's Kitten Mohair.

Materials:

long circular needle (mine is about 80 cm long)
a safety pin
about 180-200 grams of soft yarn
