Hi and thank you, I'm honored you're reading this :D
I've been knitting as long as I can remember and love anything creative and artistic. Anyway... I have a love for creative design or expression in various genres. Knitting is a given and I'll always knit and play with fibre. I process raw fleeces, dye and spin . I do some knitwear design but want to learn Salish weaving since it's something my family has done for many generations. I'm also an artist that paints landscapes and portraits as well as a classically trained pianist (ex piano teacher),
Guess what? I hate doing accounting. I'm schooled in it and worked in the field for a long time but you know, I just don't like it. Too left-brained for me! I'm good at math though so that's a bonus in delving deeper into designing knits with lace.
I love learning and I love challenging myself. If it's too easy, well I just get bored. I wonder how far these personally quirks will take me? Wherever I end up, I want to enjoy the journey.
