Pattern Description:

Creating this stair-step shape is accomplished by working from the bottom up, increasing stitches as you go. The lacework looks very complex but is simple enough for someone new to lace knitting. The finished garment lends itself to wearing casually over jeans or to dress up any outfit when you are ready to step out for a night on the town.


13 stitches = 4" in pattern stitch, blocked

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • finished measurement: 26" X 63" after blocking


  • #9 24-29" circular needle, G crochet hook

Suggested yarn:

550 yards of DK weight
