Pattern Description:

Baby booties that look just like rain boots!
Fun booties that are quick to knit and make a delightful gift. Will suit either a baby boy or girl.
They are knit flat on two needles using worsted weight yarn and seamed.
The pattern includes plenty of stage by stage photos to help you.
0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months

30-50g standard tension worsted weight (in UK use aran) plus oddments for contrast
Pair of 3.5mm (US size 4) needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)

My patterns are written in standard uk and american terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you.

I have worked for several years writing project instructions for UK craft magazines, including knitting patterns.
You may make booties to sell using the pattern, but you cannot sell the pattern itself.


22 sts and 44 rows to 4x4" square, every row knit using 3.5mm (US size 4) needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months


  • 30 - 50 grams worsted weight yarn
  • Size 4 straight needles
