When I retired, I felt like it was time to do a bit of 'give back' to the community, so I involve myself in a little voluntary work, and take great pleasure from knitting for charity......when I designed this pattern (which has been tested for accuracy), I thought that publishing it would perhaps help me to raise a little extra cash to donate to the local charity Caritas. I sell any toys I make if I can, and all the monies, apart from the cost of materials is given to this very worthwhile charity. I would be so delighted if you buy and enjoy this pattern as much as I have designing it and making it. Hopefully over time I will be able to add more patterns to my portfolio xxView all patterns by designer (11) »
I support two charities abroad where the goods get delivered by people I know, and I wanted something that little bit different to knit, that was easy, and also came together quite quickly, so I designed and had tested this garment, which is made all in one piece, thus, saving on the sewing up, which most of us don't exactly enjoy. The result is quite pleasing, and easy to wear, either on its own, or as a layering garment.
The details of this, which aren't precise, as this was made as a charity knit, is included within the pattern instructions.
