Slay the Purl Dragon

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, purl and follow instructions

Pattern Description:

I am not a fan of the purl stitch. So, I decided to face my purl demons by designing this easy, 8-paneled, boat-neck, 3/4-length sleeve, summer cotton tunic. While I still prefer to do colorwork in the round, I am more than a little pleased with the outcome. I think you will love this design. Versatile with classic lines. Easy--and fun actually--knit...even with the purls!

20 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Pattern includes instructions for Women's S, M and L...and pattern is very easily adjustable for sizing.

  • 5-6 balls of KnitPicks Comfy Fingering Weight Cotton; Straight #8 needles

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle and steam iron
