This is my first knitted sweater and is as simple as I could make it. It has a boat neck with no ribbing, 3/4 sleeves, and just enough waist and sleeve shaping to add a bit of elegance. Plus, top-down construction means no seaming!
This file includes versions of the pattern in women's even sizes from 32 to 48, and includes a design schematic for each size.*

I've worked up a yardage estimate chart to use as a guide, but keep in mind that these are estimates. Your use will depend on gauge, arm and torso length, any additions like ribbing, all that good stuff. I've included a small buffer for safety, but for extras like longer sleeves consider the larger amount.
