Pattern Description:
Must have modern cardigan with shawl collar. Twisted stitch patterns are combined to create a texture rich fabric with flattering lines and details along the front neckline and center back.
The body shaping adds just the right fit skims your curves. Add hand-crafted buttons for that truly dazzling look.
I wanted to design a eye catching piece that wasn't too hard to make and had very little finishing. Living in Colorado a little sleeveless cardigan/vest is the perfect addition to any day out in the sun.
Gauge:
24 sts and 24 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Fan Lace Pat and in Twisted Rib Pat

- Yarn: Fiesta Yarns "Boomerang" (100% extra fine super wash merino; 255 yds, 4 oz [100g]): #73 Cherry 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8) hanks.
You Will Also Need:
- Needles: Size US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle, 32" in length, or size to obtain correct gauge, plus a spare needle in same size. Note: pieces are worked straight, circular needle is used to accommodate full width.
- Notions: Stitch marker, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle, 5 buttons, approx. 1" [2.5 cm] in diameter.
