Pattern Description:

The Sidewise Cardigan, available in 8 different sizes, can be knit for practically everyone. Play with various color combinations to create a variety of different looks from the same basic pattern.

The slip stitch patterns are knit from cuff to center back to create vertical interest and mirrored patterns. Slip stitch patterns keep the knitting simple while creating a complex looking finished garment.

Gauge:

16 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm (4") in any of the listed slip-stitch patterns

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 24 (28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52)" chest

Materials:

  • 215 - 900 yds in Main Color
  • 120 - 335 yds in Contrast Color 1
  • 65 - 300 yds in Contrast Color 2 & 3
  • 30 - 140 yds in Contrast Color 4
  • 6.0 mm (US #10) circular needles 24" or longer

You Will Also Need:

  • 2 large stitch holders
  • Markers
  • Buttons are optional
