At 6' tall, I used to have a hard time finding sweaters with long enough sleeves. So I took up knitting to make my own sweaters.

Pattern Description:

This sweater is perfect to wear over jeans, or for casual day at work. It's very comfortable and as much a pleasure to wear as it is to knit. The stitch pattern is incredibly easy, but it gives great texture and dresses up the sweater. The pattern includes instructions for both dropped shoulders and set-in sleeves.


In Ridged Rib Stitch, 20 sts and 27 rows = 4"/10 cm, using larger needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • XXS (34") to 5X (70")


  • Worsted weight wool blend, 1130-2280 yards
  • One pair size 9 (5.5 mm) knitting needles
  • one size 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 16" long
