Satomi (cardigan, hat & scarf set)

from Knitgrrl
(6) Name: 'Knitting : Satomi (cardigan, hat & scarf set)
Satomi (cardigan, hat & scarf set)

Pattern Description:

This cardigan set's name is also a woman's name in Japan: in Japanese 聡 (sato) "wise" + 美 (mi) "beautiful".

(The implication, of course, is that this sweater set is both clever and good-looking. It comes with one scarf style to get you started, plus a matching hat!)

It is highly customizable both in the knitting and the wearing with its modular collar options. Knit one body in a solid, plain color and go all out with the matching accessory pieces. Let it be your go-to sweater for every day!

Among the inspirations for Satomi are medieval gowns which often had removable sleeves -- perfect for mixing, matching and saving money on garment care.

Sweater gauge is approximate and can vary, especially if you use different yarns. Read
the directions and you'll be fine! Shown here: 4 sts and 6 rows = 1" / 2.5 cm

Hat: Test after first inch of knitting if you are concerned, otherwise gauge is not critical

Scarf piece: gauge is not critical
