I am always inspired by vintage designs and women who have impacted history in some way. It was not a reach to know one day I would be inspired by the great Sarah Vaughan.

Sarah Vaughn was an American jazz vocalist who began singing in her church choir. In 1942 she won Amateur Night at the famed Apollo Theatre and soon became famous throughout the world. She was soon given the moniker, "Sassy," and was showing off her three octave range. Vaughn became known as one of the greatest jazz singers of all time. Unfortunately she passed in 1990 the same year she was inducted into the Jazz Hall of Fame.

This vintage sleeveless tank top is a triple threat of vintage design mirroring Sassy's three octave range. A wide ribbing leads to a small section of stranded color work to introduce the main color. Lastly the vintage lace stitch is worked with increases on either side for a fit that flatters women of all shapes and sizes. The ribbing can even be adjusted to make the sweater longer or shorter. This vintage sleeveless jumper is sized from XS to 3X with 2 inches of positive ease.
