Pattern Description:

A delicate yet durable and functional little bolero for baby and child. This lace quickly knits up flat, from side to side, with minimal seaming to form sleeves.

Choose a soft organic cotton or super soft wool blend and this is sure to be a wardrobe favorite.

Also available in an adult version: "Generations Shrug"

Gauge:

7 stitches and 11 rows over 2 inches in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • includes sizes: 6-12 mos, 1-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs, 4-5 yrs, and 6-7 yrs

Materials:

  • size 10 and a half needles
  • 100-175 yards of worsted or aran weight yarn, such as Blue Sky Alpaca dyed cotton
  • tapestry needle for weaving in ends and seaming sleeves together
