Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit and purl

Pattern Description:

This top-down, one-piece, gossamer-weight wrap with a drawstring waist and gathered peplum, will be perfect with your best dress or a cotton tank.

The cap sleeve is gathered at the cuff and worked with 2 sets of short rows, one at the shoulder and one at the cuff.

The tube for I-cord tie at the waist, is made by dividing the stitches, one at a time, to front and back needles, working them separately in St st, then joining them again, one st at a time from each needle.


In Stockinette stitch, 12 sts and 15 rows = 2" (5.00cm)

  • XS, finished chest 30" (76cm)
  • S, finished chest 34" (86.5cm)
  • M, finished chest 38" (96.5cm)
  • L, finished chest 42" (107cm)
  • XL, finished chest 46" (117cm)
  • XXL, finished chest 50" (127cm)


  • Lace-weight yarn, 740 yards (675m) - 1210 yards (1105m)
  • Size 5 (3.75mm) circular needles
  • One size 5 (3.75mm) double-pointed needle
