Pattern Description:

Riverstone is a simple rib sweater which uses a novel construction method to give you a fun knitting experience and a lovely sweater which will see your child through more than a few growth spurts.

Gauge:

20 stitches and 22 rows = 4 inches in 2 x 2 rib

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizes: newborn, 6 mths, 12 mths, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 years

Materials:

  • Malabrigo Worsted wool yarn. 100g = 192 m (210 yds) 160 (170, 182, 260, 320, 380, 420, 500) m 174 (186, 200, 284, 349, 415, 460, 546) yards
  • 5.5 mm (US 9) 1 x 80 cm (30") (or longer) circular. You will be using this straight throughout. Or size needed to achieve gauge.

You Will Also Need:

  • Buttons: 1 x 2cm (.8 inch) for neck 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7) x 2cm (.8 inch) for side band.
  • 1 stitch holder, 4 stitch markers, crochet hook - 4 mm (G, 6 US)

174 yards of Worsted weight
