Worked in one piece to the underarms, the body of this cardigan transitions from a flowing diamond-lace pattern into ribbing at the bodice.


18 sts and 36 rows = 4"/10cm over lace pat st using size 6 (4mm) needles
24 sts and 30 rows = 4"/10cm over k2, p2 rib (slightly stretched) using size 5 (3.75mm) needles.

  • Sized for Small, Medium/Large, X-Large. Shown in size Small.
  • Bust 341/2 (38, 411/2)"/87.5 (96.5, 105.5)cm
  • Length 24 (25, 26)"/61 (63.5, 66)cm
  • Upper arm 131/2 (14, 151/2)"/34 (35.5, 39.5)cm


  • 9 (10, 12) 13/4oz/50g balls (each approx 128yd/117m) of Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers, Inc. Grand Opera (wool/viscose/metalized polyester) in #5793 faded lavender
  • One pair each sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
  • One each sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) circular needle, 40"/100cm long
  • Six 1/2-inch/12mm buttons
  • Stitch markers
